Windows of Heaven

This is a shot of the grand kids at City of Rocks - actually sitting in the formation called the Windows of Heaven. The amazing thing is that we didn't loose any of them. Great memories with the new generation of rock hounds. Is this on everyone's schedule for 2008!

Fun in Leavenworth

Connie and I felt pretty fortunate to make it to Leavenworth the end of December - in a blizzard. I wanted to take a shortcut but Connie wouldn't let me - so we made it safely there. Enjoyed a great couple of days snooping around and enjoying what Andersons everywhere enjoy - great food and new things! It is a little out of the way to get there but a great place to visit it seems in all the seasons of the year. For some of you that get lots of snow maybe not the same appeal as there was for us. Christmas lights at there best, friendly people and a fun atmosphere.

What do I do now?

Well Monte and JoAnn said this was easy - we shall see. Just don't expect as great a blog as those Iowa kids.
